Israeli air strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 120 Palestinians in 48 hours, including attacks on medical facilities, according to reports from the Gaza health ministry.
The ongoing bombardment has led to significant casualties, with the Gaza health ministry reporting at least 205 additional injuries across northern, central, and southern Gaza. Many victims remain trapped under rubble, unable to receive medical assistance due to the blockade and destruction of infrastructure.
The total death toll since the onset of the Gaza genocide has reached at least 44,176, with over 104,473 individuals wounded. The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their offensive particularly in the northern regions, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Kamal Adwan Hospital, one of the few operational medical facilities, has been targeted multiple times, severely impacting its ability to provide care. Hospital director Hussam Abu Safiya reported that ongoing strikes have directly affected the emergency entrance, wounding 12 staff members and damaging critical hospital systems.
The situation remains dire as the Palestinian health ministry warns of imminent shutdowns or severe reductions in hospital services due to the acute fuel shortages caused by the Israeli apartheid regime's blockades and refusal to allow fuel supplies into Gaza.
